Students will be using these iPads to access a wide variety of games and apps that supplement their reading and math skills. Right now the students do not have the access they need in order to access some awesome games and apps that would enrich their learning in both of these subject areas. The iPads will be used by the students daily and consistently throughout all subject areas. Students will use the iPads to conduct research, create their own research projects, and produce presentations. These games and apps are not only engaging, but they also keep students motivated to learn and excel during their educational experience. By using iPads, students have access to a wide variety of educational tools and services that otherwise they are unable to access. One web based product or school uses is accelerated math. There is a new program online that allows the student to do everything online, but without the proper technology, students are sitting ducks stuck to a paper route that students know is a waste of paper. Students also play a math game called "Prodigy". This game allows them to play a "video game" that integrates important math concepts that they are learning in the classroom. By having these iPads, more students will be allowed to play these games and conduct the research that is needed. Through your generosity and kindness, our students will benefit.
