The students in our school are bright, energetic, and filled with a desire to learn. However, due to our urban location and the personal backgrounds of some of our students, they aren't always afforded the same advantages that other students and school districts might have. Our elementary school is almost 100 years old, most of the students live close by in the neighborhood, and our school is in a low income, Title One area. Despite the financial difficulties that many of our students and our school district deal with, our students come to school every day with a desire to learn and a natural curiosity about the world around them. Furthermore, our faculty and staff are dedicated to helping our students become the best learners and people they can be.
