Reading and math is a right that all students deserve! The past two school years have widened the gap in learning due to the COVID slide. My goal is to close those gaps with strong literacy and math activities for small group interventions. Teaching phonics and math through games that are hands-on will help my students become confident readers for life! The reading materials are all aligned to the science of reading, which is a body of research that proves explicit and systematic instruction in foundational reading skills is the best for teaching students how to read. The math materials are all aligned with Math Recovery to provide students with math number sense.
