My students work independently through a self-paced curriculum, and my classes can consist of students in Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra 2, Math Models... all in the same room, at the same time. The courses they are taking require them to use headphones to listen to online instruction every day, and most of them use their personal earbuds. Often, these personal devices are not working properly, leaving the student with no choice but to read closed captioning rather than hear the lesson. Earbuds also do not effectively cancel out ambient noise and lead to can lead to distractions. By donating to our classroom, you will be assisting students in being able to focus their attention on their coursework and improve their progress and achievement.
