A student-centered learning environment allows my Kindergarteners to reach their full learning potential. Giving them the choice to choose their seat and location puts them in control of their learning. They need a voice in how their individual learning experience takes place. Flexible seating will allow my classroom to work with their high energy rather than against it. My students will be able to stay focused, work independently, and stay on task. Expecting them to sit still in a standard chair all day isn't ideal. They love wiggling around. This keeps their minds and little bodies active and engaged. The stools and balance balls I am requesting will positively impact my students' learning for this year and many years to come! This will provide them with the stable learning environment they truly need and deserve.
