After 20 years of teaching, I have learned that students want and seek choices in the spot or position they complete work or just sit and think. Flexible seating will encourage them to be comfortable while they are learning. Students will be able to move away from the traditional table and chair to work. Flexible seating allows the students choices in how they are learning. I am working on making my classroom feel more like home for my students. They should be able to come to school each day and be comfortable and not stuck in a hard chair all day.
