I have the best job ever! I get to come to school every day and see 24 smiling faces...just waiting to learn something new every day! I am in an area of high poverty and homelessness, but that doesn't hold us back! We strive for excellence every day, even in the face of adversity. My students are hard working, committed to education, and excited to learn all they can! These children deal with a wide range of challenges, from poverty to homelessness to the difficulty that comes with learning a new language, yet they persevere! I fight to inspire these children every day, and having materials that would allow them extra opportunities to make meaning of important concepts would make my challenges much easier.
