My classroom library is available to my students to use and check out books from at all times. I promise to give my students time in class to read these books among the books I have collected over the years on my own. I decided to ask for donations for these new books in hopes that my students will have access to some of the best contemporary texts and voices. My inspiring students need access to inspiring voices that both echo and challenge their own voices. Thanks to your donations, students will read and experience text written by and about people who are both like and unlike themselves. Please help them to see the world as a place full of individuals, full of history, full of differences and similarities. I have also requested a few classroom supplies like tea, pots for plants, and rugs. We are creating a cozy space for learning and community.
