A school garden would be the perfect avenue to teach and encourage our students invaluable life skills that they may not learn anywhere else. It will teach them to work as teammates, learn cooperation, practice patience, and develop a sense of ownership and pride. At our school we have a beautiful courtyard that is a safe place for our students to work outside but unfortunately the soil is rock hard and useless. This problem can be solved with your help! Your donation of raised garden boxes and soil to fill them would get our students planting in no time! You can help make these students feel important, special, and teach them they too are worth it!
