We were successful in winning a grant for percussion instruments for our music class from the Education Foundation. It would be wonderful to have neat storage containers for our instruments, thereby teaching the children how to look after our instruments with care and appreciation. We are a Primary school with children aged 4 - 8 years old. 70% of our children are on free lunch. The children enjoy expressing their emotions while drumming or playing instruments, at the same time learning to keep the beat and learning to cooperate with others. We are very fortunate that our district places such importance on music education.
