About my class

Currently, I teach mostly college bound students in the International Studies, Honors World History, Current Affairs and Psychology courses. The students in these courses are very limited in having computers available to them. I would like to use this grant money to purchase a cart of Chromebooks to be used solely in our classroom. This would allow for technology to be more easily integrated into the classroom. Students would be able to utilize the Google classroom applications. This would allow them to create work that can be shared, peer edited, and electronically submitted. They would also have the ability to conduct extensive research, write papers and create presentations. All of these skills are vital for post-secondary education as many of these skills are applicable to what the students will be doing in college programs and more importantly in the workforce.
