My plan with the Kindles, cases, and charging docks, are to incorporate them in the classroom during our two hour reading block. Different students can rotate during this time with the Kindles. During their time, they can access appropriate books and educational apps to help them become successful, while I am helping my strategy groups. My students have a wide range of abilities and my resources cannot successfully meet the needs of all the children. I have several ESOL students, several students that are decoding, and several that have an above grade reading level. My goal as a teacher is to help foster the love for reading! I believe by incorporating technology and reading I can help build a bridge between this educational gap.
