Having a new map on my classroom wall will replace my old map that is tearing apart. This new map will create a more pleasant learning environment for my students. Students will learn map skills and geographical information with the ability to locate various places in the world. This will help my students visualize different places around the world where history took place and where history is being made today. Having this map is a huge benefit to the many students who do not know basic geographical locations in America, let alone the world. There is a huge need to develop geographical knowledge because we live in an ever changing diverse world. With this map, the world will be at our fingertips.
