Daily, I gather my students on the carpet for learning. My current carpet requires repair and does not have organized spots for students to sit. Having a designated space for each child to gather on the carpet provides them with security and consistency. This also saves time when transitioning from one activity to another. A removable carpet would provide my students with a clean, organized space to gather on the carpet. It can also be cleaned easier when messes happen. The rug I selected is large enough for all of my students and provides a designated spot for each child to sit.
