We need some more supplies to help us get ready for 7th grade and beyond! My kids will use the calculators to a) get familiar with using them so that they are ready for future math classes (where calculator fluency is necessary) and b) help with the calculations within our problems so that we can focus on the bigger picture of what we are learning! We also love to use small whiteboards for practice! The students love using them as an alternative to the standard pen-and-paper and I love it because I can quickly see how each individual student is doing in an activity. We have some, but would love to have a full class set so that each student can have their own! As this is my first year in my own classroom, I am still building my supplies so that I have a classroom that can fully support all of my students varying needs. These supplies will enhance our day to day and make it possible for us to live our schools motto to the fullest: "Today's challenge, tomorrow's success!"
