Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder often need individualized physical activity to assist with self-regulation and focus. Having a trampoline and a stationary bike will allow me to expand my Motor Lab to better address the needs of many of my students who would benefit from these two pieces of equipment. A fit body equals a fit mind. This is what I am hoping to accomplish with adding new equipment to my program. A stationary bike and trampoline will not only provide a form of exercise for my students, but it will also allow them to build balance and provide vestibular input that many of my students seek.
