Most all of my students come from a low-income/high poverty background, and many struggle with huge gaps in academic knowledge. I have children who come from many all sorts of backgrounds and because of this they need the extra love and support from all the teachers in which they interact with. Being located near a military base and in the heart of the city, we have a high transient population and receive students all throughout the year. These students come from all over and range in their academics. They have their own dreams, goals, and wishes that one day I hope to see them succeed. This is our future generation to our society. School is the future of the kids and providing them with anything we can enhances their ability to reach their goal and provide for their future.
