25 eager learners arrive in my classroom each morning anticipating the journey they will embark on that day. Our classroom is busy observing, solving problems, questioning and explaining. Most of my 2nd graders leave the school year knowing they are scientists, mathematicians, authors, readers, artists and positive citizens in our world. Our school is a Title 1 school and 99% of our school population has at least one parent serving in the military. Our military families transition to new schools throughout the year and it is nice to have necessary supplies for incoming students.
