Room 22 is full of energy. The students are eager to learn and rush to get to school. They are enthusiastic about being with their classmates and making new discoveries each day. They can't wait to get in the door. Upon arriving they prepare for school by getting their supplies ready and silent reading until the morning bell rings. A typical day in Room 22 begins with a read aloud or a journal writing assignment. Students get to choose from a variety of writing prompts or choose the story to be read aloud. Student choice is very important in Room 22. Also, students feel their voice is heard and they are allowed to express themselves freely. We have 22 students in Room 22. One thing we do well is share. We share technology, pencils, fruit and snacks. At this time we are fundraising for soccer goals. Room 22 loves to play outside. We hope you can help us stay healthy and strong by donating to our cause. Thank you!
