We started our chess club last year with three students. It has since grown to eighteen and is still expanding. I bought the chess sets at the Dollar Store, but it would make the students feel great to have actual chess timers instead of going by clocks or their phones. It has the look of a professional, which my students deserve. We have two tournaments a year with trophies. The winners are announced to the whole school. I wish you could see the looks on their faces. Once you are a school chess champion, that's good for life. Real timers that real chess players use would make these kids feel special, which they are. Thank you very much.
