I would like to incorporate flexible (or alternative) seating in our classroom. This means that when students are working, they will have the freedom to find comfortable spaces around the room to work. They might be kneeling, standing, working on carpet squares, learning on a pillow with a clipboard, sitting at a desk with an exercise ball or wobble stool. When they read their books together or share their writing, they will be able to increase their learning together. There are many possibilities of what this can look like in the classroom. We need your help to get more seating options for our classroom learning. Items like wobble stools, cushions, and lap tables are essential to meet this goal. My students would love to have choices with flexible seating options while doing their important work. Please consider helping to make our classroom a place where there are choices in seating and where students can meet together to collaborate in their learning. Any donations will be appreciated. I am so excited about the possibilities .
