All of my students have reading disabilities and often struggle to read independently. Providing students with Chrome Books will allow them to access tools like e-readers as well as modified text sets. This will allow my kids to access literature on their own levels and become independent scholars. Additionally, in order to be competitive in trade schools or in the work force my students need improved literacy skills. Increased practice typing, researching and navigating will improve their competency and comfort levels. Having eight computers will allow the majority of my students to gain practice on their individual level when working on both reading and writing. Increased technology in my classroom will allow me to meet each of my student's independent learning goals.
