With these new bike pedals for under our tables, my students will have a way to get out their extra energy while learning! Students will work on first grade tasks like writing stories, reading books, adding and subtracting numbers, and how they can become productive members of our community. Having these bike pedals will allow my students to exert extra energy in a positive way while still engaging in learning! By exerting this energy in a positive fashion, the students will get exercise rather than sitting still all day. This will also assist the students in behavior as they will not have to search for outlets for their energy.
