Our school has been asking for tablets for a few years now. We desperately need tablets for our special needs students at our school. These students are limited in speech or do not speak at all. Tablets would make communication between teacher/aide and student much more effective. All five of my students are very motivated by technology. I use computer access as a motivational tool for appropriate behavior and academic success. Unfortunately, it is particularly hard for my students to operate a computer effectively; tablets would be easier to operate for my students. Tablets will ultimately help me be able to engage my students with educational opportunities.
