What is the human cost of civil war and violent conflict? How do human beings cope with and survive violence? These questions will be explored in a month long exploration of conflict and conflict resolution throughout the world. I am a 9th grade English teacher in an inclusion classroom and I teach at a school where we believe in learning by doing. We serve an urban, high-need population, many of whom have special needs. This exciting project promises to expand student's world-view and critical thinking skills.

About my class
