Technology is a major component to my classroom. From word processing and web-based researched, to creating stop motion animations or complete virtual labs for science, my students are constantly using technology to to enhance their learning experiences. In addition, through the use of of Jupiter Grades and Google Classroom, both students and parents are able to monitor students' progress in my classes. This transparency increases students' accountability, and has a positive effect on the parent-teacher relationship, as well. In short, the use of technology in my classes has elevated student achievement by allowing them to share their knowledge through different forms of expression. Unfortunately, due to an increase in student population and a decreasing number of reliable iPads, my students are at-risk of losing access to the technology that has lead to a growth in their achievement. Please help aid in ensuring that my students are not denied access to the resources that will not only help them find success in the classroom, but also as positive contributors to our global community. Thank you!
