I am requesting new chairs for our school's music/band room. We currently have an average of 25 students per grade and we have exactly that many chairs in our class room. The chairs that we do have are very old (many of which are on the verge of collapsing). Some are held together with additional nuts and bolts that have cracked the plastic on the chair itself, making them prone to break while being sat in. The chairs that I am requesting are perfect for improving posture and performance techniques for all music class students. They are designed for middle school and high school band, but will serve as good practice for other elementary students as they begin their journey as instrumental musicians.
