These leveled books and magnetic letters will improve the overall literacy skills of my students. Most of the books in our classroom library are outdated and unappealing. With more high-interest books and engaging literacy materials in their hands, students will become even more eager to develop their reading and writing abilities. My dream is to make reading an exciting, personal experience for each child. Giving them a variety of tools to make them better readers and putting more "just right" books in their hands will do just that! The magnetic letters will be used during both whole group instruction and literacy centers as my students practice letters, sounds, and making words. The leveled books will be put in our small classroom library to give students an opportunity to choose interesting books that are at their individual reading levels. Your generous donation to our project will support my students as they become better readers and writers! It will also greatly impact their confidence as their ability to read books that they've chosen improves!
