We love technology, but we still we use whiteboards and interactive notebooks to enhance their reading and writing skills. We use whiteboards for daily fun checking for understanding games. Also, we organize the interactive binder units by color in order to aid with organization and study skills. Language learners need different levels of scaffolding that set them for a successful learning experience. We still believe in the power of the written word! Our students take a lot of pride in keeping their science resources organize and colors make them quickly locate their units of study, as well as, the different activities when they interact using the whiteboards.
