The literacy books that I have asked for will help the children to understand the concept of the day and also a chance to hear something new. These children love to be able to get the books we have read from the library center during free time. They pretend to be the teacher while using the book as a prop to teach the other children. I enjoy watching them imitate "me" as the teacher. We use manners and show respect to our children. They have to see it before they imitate the behavior. What a sad world it would be if books were not available to children of this age.
