Advance student learning helps promote positive growth for college and career readiness. In order to help students, resources and supplies are needed to keep them focus. Planners are our number one supply needed in order to promote organization. This will allow for students to keep track of their daily plans as well as work that is due in the near future. Students will also need computers to enhance their research. Within AVID, highlighters, red pens and other supplies assist in the process of implementing the AVID systems. Promoting growth starts within, and the AVID program helps students regain their individual determination in order to succeed. The Inner city youth are fighting a battle of survival, yet with motivation and support, we are working to lessen their fight.
