The fun materials will help with guided reading. This is fundamental so students may become independent readers. Making instruction fun will entice the students to keep learning. The mice are for students to have a better opportunity to use the tools available while online testing. Sometimes it is difficult to select, drag, or drop without a mouse. The STAAR will now transition to an online format and it’s best if a student has access to a mouse. This will give them the best opportunity to do well on their test.
