This easel would be utilized for whole and small group instruction by both the teacher and the students. It can be used as a visual display for important information that will be helpful for guiding meaningful discussions. Having this easel would allow the students to explore and share their thinking and expertise with the rest of the class. Encouraging that risk taking and independence in their own learning is what we strive for as teachers. Learning resources will be stored in the containers on the easel, so that they are readily available for student use. This would allow the easel to be used by a group during centers/rotations.
