My students' learning environment is in need of active learning stools and wobble cushions to change up the tired old traditional seating in a classroom. Between ages 11-13, students bodies and minds are changing and developing and it is difficult trying to sit still on hard desk chairs. Middle schoolers are full of energy and learning history can be hard when you need to move and there is really no where to go. Research shows that being able to move around helps students focus more. And active learning stools and wobble cushions are an excellent way to get the fidgets out in the classroom without being too distracting. The curved, non-slip bases of the active learning stools allows the students to wiggle during class safely. The stools are backless, so they and the wobble cushions allow the students to also sit in class using proper posture.
