The third grade team would like our students to have more consistent and reliable access to technology in our classrooms. We would love to be able to share Chromebooks between our classes, allowing our students to practice math skills using computer programs that can be tailored to meet their needs, increase typing skills to help them communicate effectively, and increase their access to STEM related materials that are not available in our classrooms. Having access to Chromebooks would allow our students to increase their confidence and independence in conducting research and sharing information. As we challenge our students to learn exciting things, use technology in new ways, and prepare for the world around them we hope to give them access to technology more often. We are excited for all the possibilities that are in front of our students and want to encourage them to explore all of the things they can accomplish.
