JAG is participating in the U,S, Green Schools Quest Project Based Challenge to "green our school" resulting in lower operating costs as well as empowering students to be good stewards of the community and their environment. As part of this project we planted three trees (Red Oak, White Oak and Red Burr) at the high school beautify our landscape in addition students determined the most positive way to impact our school was to weatherize windows where air is seeping through to save on energy, energy costs and carbon. After going through our school, it was determined that there are roughly 150 windows. We are in need of materials: M-D Building Products 0.375-in x 17-ft White Epdm Rubber Window Weatherstrip; GE 2.8-oz Clear Silicone Window and Door Caulk; DAP Seal-N-Peel 10.1-fl oz and Frost King 2-in x 100-ft Clear BOPP Acrylic Adhesive Weatherstrip.
