Being able to use this new table and flexible seating ball chairs will help encourage my first grade students to read, write, and practice math skills. The kidney table will provide each student with the personal space they need while reading and completing AR tests every morning. The flexible chairs will provide the students the opportunity to move around while still working and staying engaged. Every child is given the opportunity to reach their academic goals and these supplies will help encourage them to work hard. The new carpet will give each child the chance to collaborate with one another and provide positive feedback to their classmates. With this project, the students will also be able to receive headphones when working on different reading applications on the iPad. This is very important because the children will be able to listen and complete different activities that will increase their reading skills.
