My students need read along stories and headphones in order to increase their reading fluency and their knowledge of the world around them. Students will be able to use these headphones and read along books during the workstation time throughout the day. Research shows that students who have access to a listening library have greater comprehension skills, a desire to read and greater vocabulary skills. In first grade, these reading foundational skills can shape the remainder of the school careers. Your generous donations will make it possible to influence these students' reading skills and comprehension skills for years to come.
