Getting a Spanish classroom library is fundamental for my students to become bilingual and more culturally appreciative and diverse. Did you know that your contribution would open endless opportunities to a lovely, passionate group of second graders whose goal is to become bi-literate? All of my students have a great desire to become bilingual individuals. Spanish leveled books will support and enable my students to improve their reading in Spanish. They will have the opportunity to develop their reading skills and engage with high quality texts. In my class, there is a mixture of English native and Spanish native speakers who are eager to learn each others' language and culture. The Spanish books and resources will assist them to acquire these skills which will make them more marketable individuals in the future and continue to not just embrace the Hispanic culture but to become more culturally appreciative and diverse.
