As we study design techniques, crocheting is a must for my advanced students to practice and discover. We have found a free crocheting class and selected students will have the chance to learn one on one instruction while joining a crochet club. Crocheting is another skill that students can learn! Not only is crocheting a fun hobby, but it has several mental health advantages, including building your self-esteem and reducing stress and anxiety. In order to complete their recycle and redesign projects, students learned sketch designs, hand sew, and now they have the chance to learn how to crochet!
