My students will be able to understand what is going on in the world around them. They hear so much from other sources that are not true; they need the facts. Having something in front of them, in color, will definitely help them to relate. Many of my students do not have TV's or radios to hear the latest new reports. Having a TIME magazine in front of them will increase their knowledge of the world around them. They could also take this home to their families and discuss it with them as well. This knowledge is so powerful. They need it.
