It would be great to have funding for eight Chromebooks and Google OS licenses to enhance learning in the classroom. My students are fortunate to have used Chromebooks in the classroom. However, many of our school laptops have become worn out from overuse. Receiving new Chromebooks would ensure that they can continue learning in a way that is especially relevant in today's technology-rich environment. Chromebooks in the classroom will expand learning opportunities and make learning more exciting for students. I plan to use Google Classroom as a way for my students to share and edit writing projects. Having laptops puts research, editing, and publishing tools at students' fingertips, encouraging them to become better writers and communicators. Students will also use Chromebooks to access educational websites that will enhance their learning in all subject areas. Integrating technology in these ways will encourage students and cause them to be more invested in their education.
