I am hoping to get more classroom Chromebooks so my students can prepare themselves for the technological age they are growing up in. It is vital to a child's future successes that they are computer savvy and able to maneuver the internet with some ease. I teach Math, Science, and Social Studies to my students and the use of technology is necessary in making them life-long learners! Having Chromebooks in the classroom would allow me to target specific groups of children each day to complete enriching activities that would incorporate the use of the Google document capabilities as well as the Google search engine. Cross-curricular activities allow the students to expand their knowledge and gain a better understanding of given material. I hope to encourage my students to become life-long learners and this is an opportunity to show them how much fun learning can be!
