A new carpet will allow my students a comfortable place to sit for whole group lessons and our daily Read Aloud. At the same time, it will keep the groups of students organized and sitting on their own respective square of carpeting. It will also give them a nice place to sit while reading or working independently. A decorative carpet adds to a feeling of warmth and coziness in a classroom. It is both decorative and functional. Our new carpet will serve as an inviting focal point and a recognizable central meeting place for our Morning Meetings or class conferences.
