Hi! My name is Jordyn Derflinger (Ms. D) and this will be my third year teaching 1st grade! I am teaching in Henderson, Nevada. I grew up in this area and have lived here all my life. I went to school at the University of Minnesota, played college softball all 4 years, and graduated with my elementary education degree. Since I am a new teacher, I am still trying to get the swing of things and still trying to get some stuff for my kiddos and our classroom. I am always looking for things that will help my students explore, actively learn, and learn through play. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks everyone! :)
