My students self-describe as being college bound and eager to learn the skills required to compete in the modern world. They have strong interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) and possess a competitive academic work ethic. These Brooklyn-based students are diverse in their interests, abilities and academic confidence. As the population of students I work with are also classified as blind or visually impaired, they have unique challenges as they move toward big dreams and high aspirations.
