The materials for this project will provide the students a learning experience while playing during indoor recess and morning work time. These items will give students the opportunity to be creative in a nonthreatening way. Students can explore and work together to create their own original ideas while using their problem solving skills. My students would enjoy these blocks, tiles, stencils and dominoes at various times throughout the day. They would become an internal part of our learning and growing in second grade! Most of these items will be new and exciting for my students. They are often not exposed to items like this.
