This project will enable each of the students in my PreK-4 school to receive a book picked out just for them on their birthday. This book will be theirs to keep and add to their library at home or start their first book collection. Because all birthdays are special, I want each of my students to go home from school knowing that they were thought of and loved. Books can be keys to the world, and I want my students to have access to that key. I have specifically chosen books for this project that will meet each students' reading level and diverse interests.
