Our class is a co-taught 1st grade class serving students with special needs and general education students. We watch our students come alive as they are exposed to different genres and levels of books. Their love of learning is palpable. Our school is a turnaround school phasing out a failing school, and despite having students enter below grade level, we are determined to push every student to reach proficiency by the end of the year.
