Our school is located in Fairfield, CA. It has about 650 students. Most of our students are second language learners. They come from a variety of backgrounds. The students in our classroom all have their own chromebooks. We use our chromebooks for all subjects. We are lucky that during this time our students have been lucky enough to already have been exposed to using computers in the classroom. It helped to make the transition to distance learning much easier for most. Many of our students come from lower income families and not all can afford to have internet at home. My students also use our SmartBoard in the classroom for many engaging lessons and activities. They enjoy coming up by themselves to read and write or to move objects around on the SmartBoard. We have interactive learning games that they play and love. We have been very fortunate to have a district that supplies our classrooms with technology.
